Good work Jay

Glad there's another diesel estate on the forums so to speak. Sounds like exactly what I was after when I settled for a 95 M!

How are you getting on with the "boat" engine?

Cheers
Paul

OK ha ha. Cheesy
If i could afford to run a 2.9 Cossy, that would be my first choice.
I can get diesel for .75p a litre(legit). Wink
Another child on the way too, i have to economize.
That makes 2 children, no more tho. SNIPPY SNIPPY. Sad
I`ve had worse op`s. no problem. (gulp) Cry

Hi.
Yeh i know. i used to have a 4.6 Rangy. on the lpg.
Had to get rid because of the baby. (economize).
Thing is i got this Scorp for a good price, and i can`t afford the £2000 sequencial gas conversion, which i know the Cossie needs to release the power, the crude but works evaporator conversion will strangle the Cossie.
It will work, but when you want the power you have more chance of a blow back and may be an expensive air box disintigration. believe me i`ve seen it happen to an Audi. Oh we did laugh.
Any hoo. for my Kicks i have my 2.8 Injection Janspeed Turbo Capri. Now that is fun.

I called it a boat engine because that is basically what it is, an Italian VM marine engine!! Was also used in Rovers, Range Rovers and a few Transits if I remember correctly.

Apart from being a touch noisy (from the outside - inside you can't hear it!) I like mine. Does go really well in the wet Wink

I'd quite like a cossie, but running a haulage company with diesel pumps in the yard, it doesn't make financial sense. As for the Capri - excellent motors, I've owned three in the past, (two 3.0 essex's and a 1.6) loved them all.

Cheers
