Cry Cry CryHello all!The time has finally come.I've had the Scorpio 2 1/2 yrs and due to work commitments I never have time to use it.Standing on the drive wont do it any good(and I look at it every morning when I get into the van!)so I would like it to go to a good home where someone will get to drive it and use it like it should be.
If anyone is interested it is on http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-SCORPIO-ULTIMA-24V-COSWORTH-AUTO_WOQQitemZ461 3212483QQcategoryZ9844QQrdZ1QQcmdZviewitem
Description is listed, was Mot'd last week and only failed on a sidelight Shocked
Some of you may remember it as I took it to Derby last year.
Thanks for everyones help when I had a couple of things I needed for it,and i'll keep watching the website.
Its still got the front and rear Website stickers on it!!
Kind Regards Nev Price....

Its a beautiful car Barry but I cant warrant keeping it to use it perhaps twice a month! It needs to go to a home where someone can blow the cobwebs out once in a while!!

Sorry to see you parting from your scorp.  I also remember the car and what you paid for it!  Good luck with the auction, someone will get a tidy motor.

Shame to sell it Nev. The only trouble with selling Scorpios is that they fetch nothing and as such always end up costing more to replace in real terms as the government says!

Is that your house in the photos Nev? I would love that much room, I'd have a caravan, boat, few more Scorpios for bits etc!!

Hi all!!Nice photo Paul I hadn't seen that one.Only 45mins left on the auction Cryfeel sad but I have to be realistic.New owner will be vetted and if im not happy with them its not going anywhere Wink
By the way Baz the drive has held 28 cars(used to be in the motortrade and the forecourt was full)so you could get a whole load of Scorps, caravans etc on it if you wanted!!Not much room at the moment as the Scorpio,Scenic,my van,Twin axle trailer and smaller trailer and my Landrover series 2A are filling it up.
Usual senario, the more room you have the more you fill it up.
Will post you when the auction ends(80 are looking and 2600 have viewed the car Shocked)Scorpios must be very popular.
regards Nev

It would break my heart to sell that scorp for £900 M8 i would put it in a corner somewhere out of the way , with an allweather cover over it before it went for that amount  Cry

Quick update.Scorpio has gone to Leek in Staffordshire to a nice bloke who had a 24v but the head went!He now has a 2.9 12v but wanted Cosworth power again.I told him to visit the forum so you should hear from him soon.
Best wishes to you all.If there is another meet at Derby i'll bring the Landrover down for you to see(quality British engineering!)
