Ok, the time has come to finally admit that the Scorpio has gone...have been in denial for a few weeks, but now my new registration certificate has arrived I have to face it that i no longer own a Scorpio...
4 years of fun and frustration at an end!!
Will anyone want to know me now I own a Mondeo ?!!!

I'm disappointed in you Chad , if you're going to move to The Dark Side with all the other heretics and unbelievers at least buy an Omega, Jag or Rover 75, but a Mondeo !!! @

The Bank manager must think I've had a pay rise!!.....there's a bit less of the month left now when the money runs out 
2.0 TDCi........47 mpg (and I've not done a long run in it yet  ).....BLISS....and theres no funny noises, or me thinking "mm, I wonder how much that'll cost to put right".....
But, seriously, I do miss it (but definitely not the running costs)......I've gone from having a car where only 100,000 were ever made...to a car where you see 100,000 of the things EVERY day!!!!!!!!!!
Still smile when I see one, but of course nobody waves to me anymore 
And for your info..I do have some creature comforts...inc leather steering wheel, air con full electrics....and get this - remote global opening and closing AS STANDARD
