On Monday my estate passed the mot (cost me £200) and My cossie passed today (cost me £50), and I have just been on line and taxed em both unfortunatelly with the timing (both needing mot & tax at the same time) one of them is going to have to go

Just being nosey, what was required to pass the test on both cars ? I'm looking for the Scorp's consistently weak areas when it comes to the MOT Test.

the one thing that both failed on was "offside (centre floor) seat belt anchorage area is excessively corroded [5.1.B.6] " Just a small weld required, the estate needed both points (nearside as well as the above) both Lower wishbones (got a good used pair) & the handbrake not working correctly on one side. The cost is also kept down due to the place I go only charges £20 for a test.
