Wasn't looking forward to this, just had a feeling it was going to be expensive.

Didn't help when first words from examiner were that it failed first emission test, must have seen my face drop as he quickly added that was OK on 2nd test and had passed.  Grin

Well pleased, also no advisories.

Mine failed on 13th October because of "leaking power steering components".  Thought it strange as I've never needed to top it up and it was still above minimum.

Anyway, got it up on ramps and there was indeed some red ATF around the pinion on the steering rack so I wiped it off with a rag.  Also I tightened up the jubilee clip on the underside of the reservoir at that was quite loose, then I took it for a few miles before getting up on ramps again.  As expected, no ATF anywhere so I took it back the same day and it passed!

Looks like I've got the scorp for another year or at least until I get bored of it - tempted to go for a disco next...

If you really like bad electrics go for a Disco!! all the fun of the Scorpio but with hill descent/air suspension/cornering enhancement....

Have a search for the new Disco 3 problems and you'll see what i mean Wink
