Some Good News from Manchester

Bunged the new Scorpio in for a service.  The last one was only 3,500 miles ago...but also over 12 months Shocked

Clean bill of health, will need discs at the front and pads all round in the next six months, but they're consumables.

Feels better with new oil, plugs, etc in it.  So I reckon a good deal.  Mechanic confirmed the 61K recorded mileage as genuine, so I'm a happy boy.  Next job will be to tackle the rust on the rear arches.

I'll even include photo's when i get round to that.

Best wishes

Good news? Manchester? Are those two words possible together in the same sentence? Wink

You've got the bug Geoff, she might be good looking but she'll take all your money and leave you poor - I've been there mate Wink

Best of luck with it, I think most Scorps suffer from the cruddy wheelarch disease.

They are if your a compulsive gambler ROFL

The arches if cleaned out and waxoyled shouldn't be a problem, if done early enough. My 1988 Granada still shows no signs of this  Grin (he says wishing now he hadn't)
