Penguin bows out of Scorpio ownership

Well that's all folks. My beloved Scorpio is now sold and as of Thursday will be replaced with a Honda Jazz.
A Jazz wouldn't be my first choice of car in an ideal world, but I must face the fact that I live in a city, have to drive through it every day and the Scorpio was just getting to costly to run - and in that light the Jazz makes some sort of sense because it is a "big" small car (big enough for me to sit in anyway).
Of the Scorpio, I would however say that of all the cars I have ever owned, this one will be the only one I've will actually be sorry to see go. It was magnificent - the pefect long distance heavy cruiser that wasn't a bad car round town either. Lovely car.

Good luck mate, I can tell you now that you'll start to miss it in a few weeks. Then the urge to wander around car sales lots with Scorps sitting outsiude kicks in 
Anything else is just a motorised box in comparison

Thanks for the link to their forum, I'll go check it out. And, yes, as a former Scorpio owner*, I shall no doubt continue to give this forum the benefit of my thoughts from time to time.

*Such a poor title though - form Scorpio Owner. I suggest we be rebranded Old Scorpions.
