Got a cracking offer from work re car allowance so I nashed out and bought this

3 month old demonstrator and fasttttttttttt.

Moderately thrashing it, it returns 25+ mpg, and a run from Whitby today through Pickering on country roads I got a mighty 27.4...........

all from a 2.5 litre turbo 225 bhp motor, 6 speed manual.

only snag is........ it's a 3 door, I'm used to the Scorpio massive 4 door saloon or the huge carrying capabilities of the scorpio estate. It's strange having a 3 door car as the main car now.

regards

Hi Simon

And the reason you don't still have the Scorpio parked round the corner in a lock-up is Huh

mid life crisis, hankering back to my youth for fast cars, as well as my company wanted to off load a company euro box on me rather than pay the mileage allowance.
Anyway, we struck a deal so I was able to buy this beastie instead, but of course, this meant that the Scorps had to go.

Still, I'm booking up for the Nurgbergring thrash in June 08 with the Focus St forum so that something to look forward to. And I always have this forum to visit should I miss my Scops too much !!
