Hi Chaps, As you may recaqll my scorp keys are in the boot. I tried the route advised by PM to open scorp with no damage, but cut my hand and got mud in my eye. The wifes new car had to go on the drive, scorp had to move. So I bust a window..... That said I nearly didnt, it withstood repeated hits from a brick, which just scratched the glass and then repeated hits from round and flat ends of the hammer!!!!!!!!! Absolutely incredible the amount of abuse the window took. Still its done now.

When I was at school, sparkplugs were favourite of the hoodlums to break car windows and get inside quickly, the ceramic insulatior was great for breaking glass apparently Not much of an education but a great place if you wanted to learn 'stuff' outside school

I don't know which method you were told of but the method I have, does work and does NOT invlolve damage to the car. Sad that you had to resort to brute force, just to get to your keys

I know ... I wasnt happy. I just ran out of time what with being on call , and the wife was complaining that her car needs to be on the drive. without goin into details I couldnt get stuff off (guess where my tools are !) and got mud in my eye a couple of times and scraped my arm ( i know, i know ahhh diddumms), that and the wife put me in a right old mood.

Some of you may recall that I managed to lock my keys in the boot of my scorp last year at Billing. The lads waited until most people had gone and set about the unofficial opening process with someone who wasn't there relaying instructions over a mobile. Everything was a bit of a struggle and I was beginning to panic - until Richard's dad walked up and opened the door with his scorp key Motto - I now keep a spare key with me. Rod
