Well, it's sailed through MOT again- mind you, it should do with only 600m on the clock since last one! We really don't need 2 cars so look out for it soon in Cars for Sale and/or ebay. New MOT and taxed to end of December so will be looking for about £600. PS. Mon**o continues to run trouble free. Now I'm getting REALLY worried!

You don't have to be mad to own a Scorp - but it helps!

Crikey Pat, thought you threw the Scorp towel in ages ago...well done though Aye, my old Mondeo still runs well but I think I might be running out of luck soon, clutch is playing up and there's something resembling little tiny blobs of oil appearing in the coolant tank The Mondeo god is unhappy with me because I tell everyone my Scorp was better, I'll pay for that now

Yes, I had decided to cut my losses and scrap it because of the idle problem(which is why it was off the road for a year). But then daughter's new boyfriend sussed that autoleccy had pulled a vacuum pipe off when fitting the new wiring loom. Scrapping it would have been a shame so i'm glad it's going to give somebody else a bit of pleasure. I'll recruit the buyer to the forum hopefully.
