It Really is the end for S29 COS....

After much thought, I have decided to dismantle S29 and sell the bits off. A hard decision but one which I decided on as the car would not be worth as much if sold in one piece.

So in the next few weeks, I will be selling the famous dark rear lights, the 7 spoke 17" alloys with as new Goodyear F1 tyres, the wood/leather steering wheel (brand new 2 years ago) and all the other bits and bobs which made up the car. Sunvisors with sliding door mirros, LPG system, mats, etc. etc.

The reg number will live on though; on my S Class merc which I just bought so something good will come of it all!

Keep an eye on EBay in the coming weeks and have a bid!

Matt,

the car is worth far too much in bits as opposed to selling in one piece. I have the bits to fix it but I really can't be bothered. I have kept it going and spent a lot of money over the past few years and I just decided I needed a more reliable car for work etc.

Only 10 weeks ago I fitted  4 brand new Goodyear F1 tyres to the 17" alloys; at a cost of £400.00.... I wouldn't get much more than that if I sold the car whole!

I have made the decision and have just taxed it today so I can transfer the S29 COS plate to the new S Class Merc I have bought..... A worthy successor to the Scorpio I hasten to add!

As for the wood steering wheel, I have already had three other offers!! so this could be a good decision!

Shocked Oh dear baz , sorry to read you are breaking her up  Sad , you may find someone out there that would pay what you are looking for ... as i can remember from a lot of your  back posts you had done so much to your car like fitting  .. rear cup holders and  that back seat that recline ....  and a hell of a lot more ...

All my FDS stuff has gone now after some bloke from north of the border came down today and took it all away.... Thanks Stuart!

The documents have gone in to take the number and put it onto a retention; so it really is going!
