My payments have gone up to £43 per month fully comp in 2.9 12v Ultima Saloon. My renewal is 5th May, so it's a part year (again)!

I'm 25 with 7 years NCB.

I just got my clean licence back today, I had 7 SP30 points which were 4 1/2 years old, they'll still show up at next renewal as they want history for 5 years!  Angry

Never mind! My first car when I was 17 was a 1988 Fiesta 1.1 Ghia, cost £1,100 TPFT annually.

My 2300 Ghia X scorp weighs in at £390 Fully comp with 4 years NCB and being 31.

Funny thing is i was getting quotes for my newest additon to the fleet (a Transit Tourneo of all things  Roll Eyes ) i decided to get a quote from Direct Line on a 24V Ultima - i was shocked to discover i could drop that by £47 !  Shocked  - and getting a quote from the same place for my 2300 was the same as what im already paying.....

Wonder how they worked that out ?  Roll Eyes

Hi,

I'm 41 live in Plymouth in Devon and have a 24v Cosworth Estate. I have 10+ years protected no claims and pay £278. I always use confused.com the insurer I'm with this year is Norwich Union so not a small fly by night that disappears when you claim.

I used Norwich Union once, cheapest quote by miles, around £170 TPFT.. when the renewal came in they put it up to £350!!
I had no claims or changes in circumstances, when i called up to check it was because they offer a reduced first year discount!
Tried to double it hoping I wouldnt notice..
Now been with Churchill two years Smiley
