WhooHoo I'm over the moon.
My 97 2.3 estate passed the MOT on Monday with 3 advisories
1) Rear Pads 75% worn
2) Small chip (less than 10cm) in area A
3) Small piece of corrosion offside sill size of 10p (not yet broken through steel)

Pads being replaced after Xmas..........

Screen being replaced after Xmas due to developing a crack during extremely cold weather in January.  Grin.........

Corrosion being sorted this weekend............

One happy chappie

Funny you should say that, the MOT examiner did say that he hasn't seen one in such good condition underneath for a while.

Is chassis corrosion a common problem on estates then ?

It was on mine
Sad I had a bit of welding to do despite the assurances from the seller that it was "rock solid underneath" I'm beginning to think it was mot'd in a pub last year  Grin My windscreen was due to get changed today but it's too cold for them to do it at my house so that's rearranged for tomorrow and then mot on Tuesday. Here's hoping nothing breaks meanwhile  Roll Eyes

Cheers Jim
