Grrrr 1st MOT fail

Forgot it was due, due to mothers bereavement, normal garage fully booked so booked in at another - failed on tyre bulge (my fault, clipped a kurb on Sunday!).

Went to tyre shop - none in stock so one on order for the AM.

Two advisories - front indicators discoloured (so if anyone has a couple of gooduns? Smiley ) and surface corrosion on sill/floor edges!

Sometimes you could just do with a break LOL

Dave.
Don't you just need a couple of orange bulbs to 'recolour' the lamps ?

Find a model shop and get some Tamiya X-26 Clear Orange acrylic paint - works a treat.
About £1 a jar - enough to paint quite a few bulbs Smiley

Thanks Rob. I was quite pleased as the guy who did the MOT said it is the best one he had seen for ages (Didn't know Simmo came up here for his MOTs LOL).

Interesting that, they seem a bit "hot" on tyres lately, couple years ago I got an "advisory" for one of the rears. Tread worn a bit unevenly one side compared to the other, probs been on the front at some time.

So took it to the tyre bloke up the end of the road and he said "who told you it must be replaced?"

"The MOT test bloke."

"Looks alright to me." He changed it anyway!

Is that like the "step" inside when the door is open?

Must admit the tyre did have a bulge in it so I think he was right!

Not looked at the corrosion yet - he gave the impression it was not too bad and was under the sill - will have to wait until next week is out the way and then I will investigate!

Cheers

Ah right underneath you mean, now you mention it I've got a little bit like that as well, but was never mentioned again. Something to do with spot welds or something
