Ive just bought a 2.0L 16V ultima M,reg 95 and a very nice car it is. After driving it home i found out about the great wire loom problem burning out to a crisp on the engine. Well ive no sorted the in the form of some heat proof tape and alot of time getting it looking right well after that little problem i then found out the my air con fan or my cooler fan were working after some auto spark no it all tells me its gonna cost £35 a hour i decided to go at it me self i found the problem a long relay just hidden away in the front of the left wing down the breakers wollop £5 job done BUT and a big BUT me fans are now working but i got an air bag light on the dash board that thinks its christmas please someone help me

firstly welcome to the site
 
right down to your problems,  
 
the number one question an all things leccy related on these cars is... does it have a battery cover fitted? if not water enters the battery side fuse box, they needs to be stripped down and replaced if this has happened, (not as bad a job as you'd think)
 
2. has the main fuse board been messed with? the large multi plug is a b****r to replace correctly
 
as for the air bag, a dry joint in the system somewhere or it could be related to the problems above, disconnect the batt for half hour and see if that clears it

Welcome to the site Dan. I can tell you this: you won't find a better site for info and help for your scorpio. The advice given should not be taken with a pinch of salt, they know what they are talking about and could save you serious money with a lot of knowledge about the car along the way.
