My new...well...25k (genuine) Cossie Ultima black estate has been delivered and it's about as close to a brand new one as I could have hoped for...The doors shut with a clunk all the panel lines are bang-on, the motor is sweet as a nut..NO rust! The engine is so quiet, it was a gamble, I bought the thing without seeing it and I was seriously worried, but it is exactly how the Main Ford Agent described it...Still does b****r-all to the gallon mind. I spose its all downhill from here though.... Cheers Brian (bonnietiler)

Bruce. The gist of it is that he bought it unseen from a dealer,I think in the west country, for a lot of money. He is mightily relieved that all is exactly as described, and the car is top notch. GOZZ.

yes, i'd chased a couple of low (so called) milers and either decided against or just missed them, then I spotted this 97 Ultima Cosworth Estate on E-bay, it resided in Cornwall and as such (my being in Manchester) it was pretty much out of my reach to go for a looksee..It was in the main Ford Dealers of the area and they had known the car from new and although they sold it to the then current owner (2 owners from new) in 2000 (when its mileage was 19,000) he just never used it although he had it MOT'd and serviced annually, sometimes only 200 miles had elapsed, I bought it on the word of the dealer and happily it is exactly as described, almost "as new". This is my 4th Scorpio and certainly...at the moment...the best that i've ever seen (It cost £2500 by the way) I've even got to like the velour trim...which I'd never seen on an Ultima before! Cheers brian (bonnietiler)
