possible death of my beloved scorp

Ah Well, the weather took it's toll on my way home on Tuesday and I hit black ice at 60 miles an hour on the brow of a bend that I have driven around hundreds of times. Completely lost grip and away it went. Tried correcting but to no avail and eventually slammed into a fence head on Cry, spun twice and ended up facing in the right direction!! Drove it home and could not bear to look. Bumper gone completely, grill, both headlights, bent bonnet at the front edges, both wings creased on the front edge and the radiator. Car runs OK but fear it being written off for peanuts so insurance company will not be told!!! In the same week, I got a new job and lost my car and I really need a car as we only have the one. Don't rightly know if it is worth fixing but I do love the motor.  Se la vie as they say, I think

Sorry to hear your bad news lleewar, it's been a couple of days, and just wondered if you are able to repair it, lots of spares availiable, i guess the bodywork would be the main problem if the chassis is ok, Good luck anyway.

Sorry to hear that.
Just spotted this on ebay - item 280599694919 - not a million miles from you.
Car is up for breaking and looks to have a good front end.
Maybe worth a look  Huh

Thanks Mike, just read the post on ebay and it reads that most of what I would need has gone. Thanks anyway.  Lee
