Hi to you all out there. As an opening, can I say that I have been very grateful for the help & advice that has come from the forum & to Tony for meeting up with me to resolve my OBC problem. It is however with much regret that I have sold my 2.3 16v Scorpio Ultima Auto Estate. It was very much a last minute decision in the light of being spoiled by the towing ability of my Volvo V70 T5 CD Auto (all 255bhp of it). I have replaced the Scorpio with another Volvo,a V70 2.4 T SE Geartronic (200bhp). Whilst the Scorpio was undeniably plush & a very stately ride it lacked the pulling power of the T5.,albeit the T5 only has a maximum braked towing weight of 1600kgs it is a standby tow-car now. The 2.4T SE has a maximum braked towing weight of 1800kgs, which although lower than the Scorpio is sufficient for our current needs. I had been following a 24v Scorpio Cosworth Ultima Estate on E'bay but I could not even view, it never mind test drive it. The vehicles are delivered to a holding site after bids are finished (carswithoutreserve) and if not happy with the car the commitment to buy was cancelled !!!?. It went for £956.01. When I have perfected sleeping with one eye open, I will look for another 24v Scorpio Cosworth Ultima Estate. In the meantime, happy motoring to you,one and all.
