Hi All

Just bought my first Scorpio  Smiley Loving it so far!

It is a 1995 2.0ltr Ghia. Been stood since some time in 2006 with the PO taking it "round the block" every week to keep things moving.

Showing 66000 miles on the clock which I feel could be genuine going on the condition of the Interior, Pedal Rubbers & Steering Wheel. The exterior shows general bumps & scrapes, the worse being the Bonnet (has a dent in the middle like someone closed the Bonnet with a Tool on top of the Engine & some rather bad home aerosol work)) & the Pass. Side Rear Door.

Came with three Keys (one with the little light, one standard black & the red one). Has the original Radio Cassette but no CD Changer (the Radio has printed on it "CD Changer Control ??). Not much History, just a few old MOT's & receipts.

Have given it a small Service (the usual stuff...Plugs, Filters, Oil, etc) & all seems fine. Small blow from either the Manifold or Downpipe area, will take the Heat shield off & investigate soon.

I will have some questions but will look around the Forum first to see if they have already been asked & answered.

Hope I'm not breaking any rules but here are a few pic's...

Welcome. As Lee says that looks one nice car. Please feel free to ask any questions. There is a mass of info on the site but sometimes it takes a bit of finding if you are new.  Wink

Aye, welcome to the best car site there is!   Most of us have a few spares kicking around so there should be no-need to go looking around scrap-yards on the net for stuff, just put your wanteds in the section on the site.   I've got a couple of CD changers, and manifolds, and many other little spares.   The 2.0 ltr is a great car as I found out recently, it will no-doubt be even better on the fuel as a manual gearbox.

Thanks for the "Welcome's" guys.

Got a couple of questions if you don't mind (if I should be Posting these elsewhere, apologies).

1) CD Changer - I would like to keep the original Radio Cassette & fit a CD Changer. Would the Wiring Loom have been fitted at the Factory (I know that on some cars even though some equipment was not fitted, the Looms were fitted as standard)? Also, are CD Changers normally fitted in the Boot?

2) Paint Colour - I know it can sometimes be hard to tell from pictures but is my colour known as Atlantic Blue? I ask because there is a Bonnet available in Wolverhampton on ebay advertised as Atlantic Blue. If this is the right colour for mine, it would be easier to swap the Bonnet than try to repair / repaint.
