Hi, I'm Dan. I have finally bought a Scorpio!
I have a 1998 'S' Cosworth in Black.
The interior is Pumice leather I believe and has rear parking radar, side airbags also fitted.
55000 miles from new, only covering 3k since 2017!
I will get some pics up later.

Thanks Malcolm.

Some small jobs carried out so far............

I've repaired the keyfob as it was not working.

Fixed the bonnet pull after the cable pinged off the day after I bought it!

Cleaned the MAF out of curiosity, wow! Different car now!

Just waiting for some good weather so I can get onto the other jobs.

I have been after buying a scorpio for over twenty years and I am not disappointed. I love the way it drives and looks.
It is my first auto'box car and took a little getting used to.

And, I must add, that I work at Cosworth in N'pton and the Scorpio has caused quite a stir!

Welcome Dan.
I am interested in your comment re the key fob.
What sort of 'repair' did you carry out? We have had various solutions over the years including new micro switches.
I'm not surprised the car caused a stir at work!

Hi Simmo, The keyfob was in a right state. Removed the covers and batteries and cleaned up.

There was no conductive material on the buttons so I used tin tape (sticky tinfoil). Fitted new batteries and carry out a teach.

Job done.

Looks like a very nice clean & tidy example.
The lighter colour interior is quite rare and looks really good with the black paintwork.

Well done!
I still need to completely strip the underside of mine. The rear up to the floor pan has been done and stone chipped.
Sills and arches are wax injected now.
Enjoying driving her to work.
One of the c0-founders of Cosworth is coming into work next week. I will ask him to sign my engine cover!!
