Hi,

Can anybody advise me on the best oil for my 2.5Td.

Hi
On the main site under engine data 2.5TD
it lists sae 15W40 ford super multigrade
engine oil.
it also lists alternatives

The 2,5 litre turbo diesel engine is produced by an Italian company, VM, well known for their diesel engines.
This engine is used in many different applications besides cars, eg marine called Mercruiser or BMW, many agricultural and industrial machine applications and stationary use.
In cars the engine appears in Jeep Cherokee, Chrysler Voyager, Rover SD1, Rover 825 TD, Range Rover 2,4 & 2,5 TD, Alfa Romeo 155 2,5 TD, Alfa Romeo 164, 2,5 TD, Magnum La Forza, Opel Frontera 2,5 TD, and certainly a few more.
There is a site on the Internet dealing with this engine, irrespectively application;

You are welcome to join and you can share discussions with many with the same engine and interest and sell and buy parts, publications etc.
