Title: Radio Code Post by Old_Sparky on Oct 11th, 2004, 5:18pm Hi Folks Just got a 6000 CD/Radio off Ebay. the seller insists the code he has supplied is correct but the unit won't accept it. It just keeps giving me a 30min time out. So here's the question.....Has anyone got a code breaker like they sell on Ebay, the one where you enter your serial number and it tells you the code, or is it a trip to uncle Henry's local emporium to be ripped of a few quid.??. While I'm at it I've noticed a loose plug in the radio hole, sort of flat grey cable into a rubber covered box then out in the same flat grey cable to a multi pin plug. Anyone know what it is. ??? ??? ??? Chris |

Title: Re: Radio Code Post by Snoopy on Oct 11th, 2004, 5:32pm Try here it used to be free but I think you have to join now to get a free decode http://s105883597.websitehome.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=158 otherwise there are lots of High street places do it for about £5.00 |

Title: Re: Radio Code Post by Baz on Oct 11th, 2004, 11:35pm Grant, I took the 7000 radio out of my new Cossie to fit the sat nav, but the radio code card is missing from the book. Can you do 7000 radios as well? I won't need it until I decide to reinstall the 7000 (or sell it) but it would be nice to know Baz |
