Hi Folks

Just got a 6000 CD/Radio off Ebay. the seller insists the code he has supplied is correct but the unit won't accept it. It just keeps giving me a 30min time out. So here's the question.....Has anyone got a code breaker like they sell on Ebay,the one where you enter your serial number and it tells you the code, or is it a trip to uncle Henry's local emporium to be ripped of a few quid.??. While I'm at it I've noticed a loose plug in the radio hole, sort of flat grey cable into a rubber covered box then out in the same flat grey cable to a multi pin plug. Anyone know what it is. ??? ??? ???

Whats the serial number, Mxxxxxx for example. Lets hope this doesn't start a flood!

Serial No M053477 code I was given was 7166

Grant you'r a star, code worked a treat, I also identified the mystery cable, it's the speakers. Looks like I'll now have to get an adaptor for that as well as the ariel.

Grant,

I took the 7000 radio out of my new Cossie to fit the sat nav, but the radio code card is missing from the book. Can you do 7000 radios as well? I won't need it until I decide to reinstall the 7000 (or sell it) but it would be nice to know

JohnJ, if you really want that code its 5003.

Baz, I assume the 7000s work as well. Whats the serial, if its Mxxxxxx you should be fine.

Haha Very good, but I would say the lotto numbers are better, and then the wife can keep her account. ;D
