The thermostat for the Ford Scorpio Ulitma 2.3 16v is not correctly listed by the big patent part manufacturers. The one that they list is for the 2.0i 16v and it is not the right size. Unfortunately the only place you can get them from is Ford. They are even different to the 2.3 16v in the Galaxy for some odd reason!

The FINIS codes are:

F6994257 - Thermostat
F1092262 - Ring rubber seal

#12.62 including VAT

I thought i would share this as I wasted nearly 2 hours today driving around South East London trying to find a Ford parts shop that was open!
