on ebay there are remote fobs for sale. im thinking of bidding on them , but does any one know if they will all work for my nov,1994, 2.0 16v ultima .

ALL SCORPIO'S DO HAVE THE REMOTE LOCKING FACILITY,IF YOU BID AND WIN,THE REMOTE WILL NEED PROGRAMMING THOUGH,DETAILS ARE ON THE SITE

My keys/fobs are a mess. Thinking of overhauling the entire system.

Does anyone know this newer fob to be compatible with our Scorps?

Unfortunately no they don't work on the scorpio, i believe members past and present have tried all the Ford remotes and a few other makes and only the original remote will work i'm affraid.

hi dave

fitzy is quite right,even though the current one for the the transit is very similar (3 button,1 for the back door),it WILL NOT work with the scorpio,the only one's that do work,are the ones available for the scorpio,something to do with the radio frequencies i think....

Hiya,

Are your remotes damaged or just dirty. I've just renovated my own and my friends and they're now great. Look on the advise forum under, Clean, Clean, Clean, and you'll see I've described the process.

I don't know anything about the remotes compatability, but what shocks me is how much they cost both second hand and new!!
