Title: ALMOST RIPPED
Post by CRAGS on Nov 23rd, 2004, 10:15pm
;D ;) Last week i came across problems with my car.Lights suddenly coming on several times without reason,A,B,S light on in dash and nothing fromkeyfob.     +          Main ford dealers where left with the vehicle for what i thought would have been an extensive and thorough diagnostic,,should have been thorough for seventyquid:
I was then told  the lights suddenly coming on was a faulty circuit board in the cars instrumentation cluster panel ,,abs sensor replacing,,,new key fob required,,,the choking cost over the phone once the diagnostic complete was a staggering nine and a half hundred quid. thanx to George of the scorpio club from preston we solved all the problems with doing the following. George took his handy pair of pin nosed plyers and placed the bulbnholder from cigi lighter back as it had fallen from slot,,cleaned the circuit board inside keyfob,,and cleaned abs sensor and bobs yer uncle all fer twenty quid,,NICE ONE GEORGE N SHELLEY
