what is the best oil to use in a 2.0l 16v :)

i would recommend a good semi synthetic....
loads out there,the choice is yours,but just remember

semi synthetic,and a good brand usually helps as well

i have bin using 5w30 semi sin is this ok

I allways use 5/30 or 10/40 Magnatex and change every 6 months. Not cheap, but neither is a new engine. john.n ;)

If you are in Halfords if you look in their oil book as regards makes of car they say 3/30 synthetic. That's the oil I use. I would rather have the 5 rather than the 10.

Well I would have to say that Mobil 1 is THE best oil bar none - but very expensive.

I used to own a Mazda Xedos which is known to suffer from noisy tappets due to very small oilways and the ONLY oil recommended by users on various owners sites/forums is Mobil 1. Many other so-called good quality synthetic oils have a much higher ash content which is not good for your engine internals.

love to put mobil 1 in but due to me traveling 1,200 miles aweek its an oil change virtualy evey month :-[ be skink by the end of the year ;D ;D
