Has anyone out there changed the dashboard perspex/glass recently ?
The one on mine req. replacement and would like some advice or ideas. Thanks in advance. ::)

Welcome.

Do you really want to do that? Gulp!   :o

If so have a look at

That will walk you through the stages.

However if the perspex is just scruffy or marked, consider trying a little wadding with liquid metal polish such as Brasso or Duraglit polish on a small but unimportant bit. That can often bring perspex up like new. You need to be gentle but it could save you hours.

Don't try that on the vinyl dash or walnut trim though.

Not changed it, but cleaned it!

I had some bulbs to change so did it at the same time!

As Geoff said - follow the dash removal instructions, and as long as you are methodical its not too bad!

The instrument cluster comes out OK and the plastic is held in place with a few screws - make sure you keep it upright as there is fluid in it somewhere!!

Replace the bulbs at the same time - but beware the small ones are expensive!
