has anyone tried to fit an electric sunroof into a manual one? Is it just a case of removing the manual winder and replacing it with the elctric motor? Any help please?

Hi Tom,
I am sure that is all you need to do and if i am correct i think the multiplug is there for connection to the motor aswell, Don't forget the switch and bezel. Good luck in finding a good one.

thanks,does the switch and bezel fit into the space in the roof left by the manual winder(like my carlton)? Or is a dash fitting(like my e-class)?

THe switch is on the bazel like your carlton.
