I heard a new noise from the Scorp to-day. While driving merrily along it gave out a warning (?) beep, no dashboard light came on nor did anything untoward happen. 20 minutes later the same beep, now , it's not the chime that is heard when re-programming the seats or remote, nor is it the noise when you open the doors and you've left the light on, it's a new one, like the old Casio digital watch alarm beep. Maybe the radio?

Any ideas ?

hi there

was it cold outside (frezzing)? it could have been the ice warning but you should get a wee red snowflake light on the dash.

or low on fuel? a beep starts at 50 miles to go.

what was the temp out side mine makes a noise when it goes to zero outside but red red comes on dash
also did fuel go below 50miles beeps then as well hope this helps

Yep, that's it chaps, the dash ( red) ice warning light was on . I thought it was maybe something to do with the few deliberate snow slides I did to see if the ABS was working .
