Title: driveshaft removal Post by low_tom on Jan 30th, 2005, 9:48pm can anyone help me by recommending the best way to remove the hub nut on the driveshafts please so i can split the hub and remove the trailing arm. It's like nothing i've seen before and kinda looks like it's had a tab washer pressed into it to keep it in place. Advice please guys. |

Title: Re: driveshaft removal Post by Eddie on Feb 1st, 2005, 9:19pm If you just want to remove the drive shaft then there is no need to remove the bearing/hub assembly!!!. Disconnect the drive shaft from the back of the hub,its held on via a flange and 6 torx bolts, leave the bearing intact in the hub. The whole lot minus drive shaft, can be left in the trailing arm when it is removed. eddie |
