Title: Removing the Glove Box Post by VladSoare on May 3rd, 2005, 8:20am Does anybody know how I could remove the glove box? I stared at it for almost an hour, but could see no clips or screws or anything. I don't want to remove the entire crash padding, I only want to take the glove box out. I have an annoying squeek, which seems to be caused by friction between the crash padding and the walls of the glove box. I want to remove the box and see if I can do something about that squeek. Thank you. |

To replace is a bit more difficult as you need to locate these and then push it home. You will see what i mean when you remove it. john.n ;) |

Title: Re: Removing the Glove Box Post by VladSoare on May 4th, 2005, 6:24am I'm sorry, my question wasn't very clear. :-[ I was actually talking about the box that contains the glove box, I mean the plastic "walls". If you remove the pivoting part, the actual glove box that is, you're left with a big plastic box that fills the hole in the dashboard. This is what I want to remove, this big box, because the squeek comes from between its walls and the crashpad. Thanks. |
