Title: leather conditioner
Post by scorpio_man on May 5th, 2005, 1:26pm
hi there

with all the meetings happening etc, i thought i'd give you my opinion on this leather conditioner....

i normally use autoglym but was given this when i'd ran out. imo, it good stuff. doesn't clean/lift small stains like the autoglym's but leaves a much longer lasting 'shine'. i would/will still use autoglym's leather cleaner first if needed.
some of the guff from the rear of the bottle reads like....
leaves your leather looking rich and natural
helps prevent leather from cracking and splitting
UVA and UVB inihibitors helps prevent pre-mature aging and fading
ph balanced etc, etc.

I was looking at this stuff today but went for autoglyms instead. it probably doesnt lift staines because its step 2 of a 2 step system. i guess the first step does the removing and the second does the enriching!
anyway my seats are nice and clean now but!!!!! There are areas of the seats that could do with respraying....................ANY SUGGESTIONS!

as Craig says there are plenty of places that you can get the exact paint and restorers from < they will match to a slither of hide if you send them some > but if they are not too bad then try SHOE POLISH ..its waterproof ..has no silicons to damage the leather ..it feeds ..shines ..seals and you can get it from any high street shoe shop !! .. it mixes too ..so you can lighten it with a little white or darken it with black and so on .. when polished it won't come off on your other halfs new outfit ...and think of the stick shoes take !! .... colour range is pretty varied too........... regards ....
