most of the site members use Alex Pepper solarpanel .. it's free software and updates at :

http://www.obd-2.com/

..you'll need a lead though ..perhaps a site member is selling one ??? ... cheers .... STN

Is it worth one you you guys arranging a deal with obd-2.com?

You could set up a package so that Scorp owners always get the correct bits, we should be able to get a better deal and you may be able to get some commission to help with running costs.

Hi dondon .. several members have done group orders with obd-2.com .. it's the way most of us got our leads I think .. there is usually someone organising it but I think the last was fairly recent ..so no orders are in at the moment .... regards ... STN

[] I can confirm that - I arranged a bulk purchase a while back (not the latest one!) the cost came out to about £55 if I remember correct!

Takes a bit of time to organise and you need a good credit card, my bill came to over a thousand pound ::)

That's why I was wondering if a general arrangement could be put in place with obd-2 so that each person could order their own individually, direct from the supplier, but mention this forum and therefore qualify for the special terms.

Tried that but Alex only wants to deal with large orders to give discounts.

If someone can order 10 - 15 then they are a good price but then they have to outlay a fair amount of cash and hope they sell them all.

With the current exchange rate they are not a bad price for what they are and can do.

I did the last bulk order.
Yes it is a bit of a "Hassle" but everything turned out OK in the end and I think everybody is happy.
I don't recomend a USB adaptor as they are aReal Pain!

USB connections: [] it is a pain when you don't know hwy it won't work (see my thread in OBD advice).

Bob, I'll post an answer to the XP/USB problem after I've checked my set up. I'll post a reply to your recent ? in "OBD-advice". Suffice to say it connects straight away now - no probs whatsoever.
