Title: Solid, drilled, or drilled and grooved Disc`s?

So what would you fit to your Scorp? ???
Solid, drilled or drilled and grooved.
Personally i think that the drilled and grooved are a gimmick, There is less surface for the pads to grip so less braking effect.
I may have to change the disc`s so i was going to go with the standard solid vented disc`s.
I have a 2.5 oil burner. so maybe the best and cheapest option is standard. but just wondering what you guy`s have fitted and what would you recommend?

Jay :)

tried em all on various motors, its only at the extreem of the performance envelope of the brakes that you notice any differance, better mod for you would be to fit the larger 24v brakes it you need better ones, drilled discs tend to crack easier but privide better cooling, the grooved ones stop the pads glazing giving you better more consistant braking.
