thought my motor was goosed,

turns out that under the black plastic cover that comes through the boot/window theres a rubber seal to stop water/dirt getting down the wiper shaft, this had perished and allowed corrosion to seize the shaft.
When the wiper was supposed to be moving i could turn it by hand but it wouldnt turn itself.
A little WD40 and ten minutes looking silly waving the wiper back and forward out in the street had it good as new :D
