Hi Guys

Hope someone may be able shed some light on this one.

I am looking at a S reg Scorpio ultima 2.3 but it has a manual gear box.

As far a i know from my knowledge goes the 2.3 ultima was ALWAYS an automatic and not manual.

Even listings for the car on say parkers only ever lists a 2.3 ultima auto not manual

i have done a basic check through hipcheck (the free one) and this says it is an ultima so not a ghia x re-badged)

Anyone any ideas.

Not so mate, the 2.3's came with manual boxes, even in Ultima spec, I am sure I saw one on eBay very recently too.

Many Thanks guys - of all the years i;ve followed the scorpio the 2.3 ultima always appeared as an auto i was thinking the car may have been re-badged to start with.

shal be looking at it as seen as i can this week and hopefully be around here more if i get it.

am now looking through the advice pages on things to check on when i look at it.

its an S reg with 99k on it but FSH

paulscorp drives a manual "p reg" 2.3 ultima, if you want any advice on it, send him a pm.
