as far as i know, they are worth the 2.99, and for 3 squid, its worth a punt. he does have very good feedback, 99.1%, and well over 100 happy customers, with only 1 neg, you just cant read his feedback....but click on private in the sellers info box, and all will be revealed.

hi there

all the information is on the main site. no need to go down that road.

oops, yeah, i should have mentioned that in previous post, but got distracted with the feedback thing! ::) scorpio_man is correct mickey_2.9, you will not find any info on that cd, that is not more comprehensive in the pages on this site.

the glovebox light is about the only thing NOT on the site!!!!

the big problem with the cd is this site gets supported by ford europe. they don't like just anyone having their copywrited material. ;)

The best way to search for information on the main site is to use the " Search" facilty at the bottom of the index page  HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/index2.htm)

The thermostat is a fun item to change!! (when you can get one that is!) Just be careful of the oil pressure switch.....great big engine and they design it to fit behind the stat; just where it can get smacked as you try and get the hoses off!!

Baz

Oh, one other thing....if you do change the stat, try and change as many hoses as you can. I never did and ended up with a hose, cut through by the jubilee clip, waiting for a ferry in Calais. Could have been worse cause we had been to the south of France and back, but still needed to stop at every service station between Dover and Warrington (and that is a lot!!) to top the water up. Swapped the hose and it costs all of £10.00 so a good move to do it!

Me, personally, would recommend changing ALL the hoses  if doing a thermostat or radiator change, they are a small fraction of the cost of an ENGINE.

I change my hoses every 2/3 years they go brittle and can crack , but it is a personal thing.

I would agree Dave but there is one which comes from the stat on a 24v which goes up between the heads and is not a small job to replace. every other one maybe!!
