;D I have had No heat in this car since I bought it a year ago, today I had the matrix back flushed and like a similar post a few weeks back I now have very hot air pumping out 8)
So my advice to any body thinking of changing the heater matrix is to first back flush it. I am told that there was a small amount of gunge that came out before the water ran clear.
Good look to anybody else with the same problem

How do you know which hose is the inlet and which is the outlet to the matrix , in order to enable a successful back -flush?

Hi, the machanic that did the flush for me told me that he flushed the matrix both ways a couple of times but as to which pipes ??? sorry I don't know, but he did say there was one each side of the engine.
