car has not been driven for 10 days as its sitting at heathrow...will the remote not work now when i get back to it?? Whats the proceedure for sorting this again??

I dont think you should worry about the remote. I think its 90 hrs and not all the time for a 'left alone'. Your key should aways work. I dont think Ford would build a car that you could not get in to after 90 hrs of being left alone. If it does give you jip, follow the key fob reprogram/repair section on the main site. ;Dhttp://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/remote.htm

Last summer I left mine at Glasgow Airport for 16 days, although the weather wasn't as cold as it is now.
