Title: Re: bonnet light Post by mr._floppy on Feb 3rd, 2006, 12:36am Like the dashboard illumination dimmer and the central locking lock/unlock indications , the engine bay light was just something the Scorpio designers absentmindedly forgot about. Spending too much time on those awful headlights I shouldn't wonder >:( |

Title: Re: bonnet light Post by DJWerkz on Feb 3rd, 2006, 9:08am Hi Craig, Not changed the bulbs to any of these 'super bright' type, I am a little nervous on using bulbs like these in case they cause any electrical fires. I did use some on my Chevy Suburban when I lived in the USA, can't remember the brand but I do remember buying the market leading brand in terms of quality. They made some difference, not huge, but considering I used to drive quite a bit back and forth over the Sierra Nevada mountains where there is very little light pollution or artificial light, they were pretty good on the mountain roads. |
