hi there

i'm getting mine done.

£10 for a bump/dent.
£35 for refurb
£10 for 'special' finish (wild colour, etc)
£5 for the centre cap (stripped down completely- no plastic)

2 days turn around.

this is my 'spare'. i got it of a member with a big dent in it. all gone now. ;D just need a tyre.

Hi There,

Finally bit the bullet and put my spare set of alloys in for refurb and powder coating since I don't think I'll get any chrome ones now. Hope to pick them up later this week so I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks Andrew, these are good guys.

Oh, there is!

Spit&Polish.co.uk (http://www.spitandpolish.co.uk/)

My brother had some Cortina Ghia alloys done by these a good few years ago. I didn't think they were still going. Did a good job back then, although I do remember they weren't cheap.

Hmm... 200 quid for the whole set, or more if we do the centre caps too.

I think I'll have to leave mine as they are.

Picked the wheels up today.. lovely job, I'm well pleased. Should I tell you that they were £165 including the center caps?? Now just need to get the tyres changed over.

hi geoff

they do a great job.

i'm paying extra for the special finish. :) pick up the last 2 on thursday.

i've had a look for some tyres (need 2). think i'll have to get cheaper ones this time. :( might go for Hankook VENTUS SPORT K104 @ about £60 each. :-/

My tyre fitter says these are far better than the Hankook's. :)
