Title: slow pulling away
Post by TRACEYS_LIMO on Feb 21st, 2006, 8:42pm
if you get over taken by mopeds when you pull away like i was check no one has messed with the throttle or you find that you are only getting half throttle and on a 2ltre 16v auto this is not very funny. it was not a mechanic who found this it was a auto gearbox repair centre they said i made there day once they got off the ground from laughing. maybe the throttle was set back because at an earlier time it was used as car for an under takers.  ::) }{

 The first thing I did when I got my Scorp was to  adjust  the throttle pedal to be level  with the brake pedal,   it was far too low  and if the carpet  was in the wrong position  you'd be lucky to get outa  second gear  :-[
