Does any one know them for the Scorpio range or indeed any A4LD- U.K cars??

Lock up should occur at 46mph TTBOMK

hi dave

i've heard bill (stn) and eric talk of 'stall' speeds, but i've never been sure what they were on about! :-[

maybe ask them? :-/

Well basically mate it's when the torque converter locks-up & transmits 100% of the drive to the gearbox.
If I can find a torque converter more suited to a 24V engine that has a lock-up speed the same as when the engine comes on the power it will make it a whole lot faster off the mark ;)
