Hi Kev,
My brother has a dutton mellos kit car with the v6 24v in it, and it scares me lots :o
It did have something v8 from a little known company called roover or something.
but not being one for inferior products it was disposed of after a d**n good thrashing on a track day ;D
Regards,
Al

Ahh perhaps that was it. All I know was the badge was not oval or blue  so it had to go  ;) :).
I could be wrong here but I am sure the wifes machine that sucks dust from the carpet has an engine fron the roover company and thats no good for a kit car  ;D ;D ;D ;D

:)
They put the earlier 24V in almost anything Sierra, Transit, VW Transporter, kit cars, Cortina, Reliants, Escort & TVR's.

Not many with the later Scorpio one as it's reguarded as not as good by most people.

Rover??? ha ha as we are on the subject look at the latest engine of choice for the Rover SD1
