Title: Re: 4 Screen DVD Cinema for less than £250 quid! Post by leftofcentre on Feb 26th, 2006, 8:03pm cos there was a bloodey great hole there from prev owner who attacked it with a drill! And i couldnt manage to get hold of a roof lineing up here "int land of nod". I did buy one but due to a misunderstanding on one of these ads on ebay where the seller advertises bits from a "Car for Breaking", i received a roof from an bloodey Estate! £45 worse off! (there was no pic) So that was the answer, plus when 4 of us plus little one go to Italy later this year theres a screen for everyone ;D |

I go to South of France on 15th August from Dover.....Hope to have LPG up and running by then too! should be better than the £500 of fuel it took last year to get there and back!! |

Title: Re: 4 Screen DVD Cinema for less than £250 quid! Post by leftofcentre on Feb 26th, 2006, 9:39pm Not really a back ground in Electricity but i served an apprenticeship as an Aircraft Technician (but then was made redundant twice!!). Monarch + BA about 5years ago. Since then i have chosen a career as a Vocational Driver. More job security + moneys not much different suprisingly. :-/ Anyway enough of the life story..... ;D We go to Italy early September. We try + go some long haul drives once a year. We have done Costa Blanca + Costa Dorada in prev years but that was in a Ford Granada 2.0GL (No aircon = v hot!!) + a Rover 820 SI (but it overheated + rad failed), hope the Scorpio will prove itself. |

Title: Re: 4 Screen DVD Cinema for less than £250 quid! Post by Baz on Mar 4th, 2006, 2:52pm I have never needed any noise suppression in both the systems I've had in mine. The one I have now was originally in a 2003 Galaxy which was written off. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y147/Bazunitec/DSCF0632Small.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a369/bazunitec2/DSCF0712Small.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a369/bazunitec2/DSCF0717Small.jpg I haven't put the one in the front visors like LOC yet but I now have another visteon dvd player and two more screens so they may well be chopped for the purpose!!
