Title: Ecotek Valves
Post by Matt on Mar 10th, 2006, 6:50pm
Hey all

Has any body fitted one of these valves to their car? ('98 2.9 cossie preferably)

If any one has, where did they install it and have they noticed any performance benefits or increased fuel economy?

Click the link below to find out more about them

Interesting, looks like any of us Cossie owners would need 2!

Think I will read this in a bit more detail, see if it's really worth the hype, but would be interested to get others input too ;)

The 24V has already got a similar kind of system fitted due too it's variable intake system so this would probably be of little if any benefit.
Don't bother.

anything that improves the cossie's thirst for fule must be worth while, and as im working on the engine atm i thought it would be a good time to fit a couple (cossie need 2 as it's over 2.6 ;D)

Evening all,
I have had these valves before not on my cossie but a xantia :-[
They gave no noticable difference at all.
Spend the money on petrol and you will be better of as far as miles to the gallon.
