Hi All,
Anyone got any experience using green or red stuff pads on a 24v cossie
I hear that they give off considerably less dust than others and if thats true I would buy them for that alone cos I hate cleaning my wheels.
Do they last as long as standard gear, and do they actualy perform any better?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated ;)

not heard of them on the cossie but i have a few mates with them (green stuff, fitted to hot hatches) and they say they give greater stopping power (not sure about dust) best to use them with a grooved disk aswell although not sure how they would perform on a car as bit as the cossie. they are mainly for fast road use (boy racers lol)

Have used green pads on some cars but the wear rate for " normal " use is quite high and they don't come cheap, and from what I remember the dust is just as clingy and messy.

Just be careful, some 24v have cougar pads and calipers fitted at the front.

ive got EBC greens fitted to my seirra ( cheaper than standard ford pads ) wear rate seems normal and brake dust does seem low. ive been told they can warp disc's because the pads are hard but mine have been fine.

Just got a set ebay for £40.00 plus P&P
at that price they got to be worth a try :)

No, it's not that, I saw some on eBay for £4.00 - nearly bought them myself.

Oh yes I was watching them. If I remember correctly they were for the rear. and guess what I waited to the last minute and got out bid.
damm and blast and other stuff ( not what I said at the time but I guess you get the idea)
