Can anyone help me? The heated seats on my Scorp don't work. I have always thorght it was probably a duff fuse, however looking in the owners manual it says that the ciggie lighter and the heated seats share the same fuse. The lighter works so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what may be wrong, is there a relay that might not be working? Any help greatfully recieved.

Look at this http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/handbook.htm. Read pages 131-134.It says there is a yellow relay,No.26, in the centre consul. Have you checked the connections under the seat as there have been post about them getting dislodged.

make sure if you try another relay you check the pin connections ,i remember changing one on another members car a long time ago ,the new relay he was supplied was the wrong one ,so take the old one with you when you go for a new one ,most part dealers near here didnt know they were different ,and ford dealer said it didnt matter anyway!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for that Colin, Paulscorp is sending me another relay so it should be the correct one. Hopefully another job I can tick of the list ::)

yeah check your wires where thay go though the foam in the bottom of the seat mine where broke it's where thay get hot and go brittle then break chris d
