Can anyone tell me, does the bulb in the head lamp switch push in or screw in? Also how do you get hold of it, long nose pliers ???

Cheers Mike

Definitely remember doing this with long nose pliers, but can't remember if it was a twist job or just a pull. Twist and pull I think  :-/
Tell you what, buy the new bulb first so you can see for sure.

Think you will find it is a bayonet type bulb - I used a bit of tubing over the glass to protect/grip it!
