Title: 2.3 fuel rail wiring loom question
Post by deefer on May 29th, 2006, 11:51am
Hi all,

Just replaced my fuel rail wiring loom, and got a bit stuck.....

All the connectors on the loom are locked in with little metal spring clips, apart from two, one that goes to the temp sensor and the other (with brown/white purple/white wires)

Can anyone tell me where this one goes, I can see a space for it anywhere.......

Thanks in advance.

There are two temp sensors on the scorpio, one next to the other. One is the ECT, the otherone is the temp-gauge indicator

the other sensor on the thermostat housing has one of the connectors with a spring clip to hold it in place

That's wierd, mine has no clip at the temp sensors, they got a plastic clip, they make a click and they get stuck  :-/

I found it, it fits on the hose between air filter and throttle body, couldn't see the wood for the trees lol.

the connector on the sensor nearest the thermostat has a spring clip on mine.
